Samantha's Bio:

Welcome to Kip McGrath Walkden, I’m Samantha. I’ve been running the Walkden centre since 2004, delivering 19 years of trusted tuition in the Salford area and supporting hundreds of children to improve their confidence and achieve academic success. I have previously spent 15 years in Primary Education as a leading Maths teacher in Salford. As an experienced teacher and business owner, I know that building positive relationships with students and their families relies upon communication, support and motivation, which is exactly what you’ll find at Kip McGrath Walkden.

My passion for literacy, combined with the research from studies which show reading from an early age leading to better social outcomes, means it is a real focus for all our lessons at Kip McGrath Walkden. You’ll find our centre filled with books. We even have our own library for students to borrow from. My personal favourites are Pumpkin Soup by Helen Cooper and Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. Away from the centre, you’ll find me enjoying walks with my cockapoo Alfie, who has his own wheelchair, and loves attention. If you’re a local, you might see us. Say hi if you do!

Meet Samantha Craig, our warm and welcoming centre manager with over 30 years of teaching, tutoring and management experience.
